Good, but there is a slight caveat. Notice how she is eating the mic in a situation where there is no need. That is to make sure there is virtually no bleed from the guitars into her vocal mic. Only that way can on-the-fly pitch correction be applied. And it is there - the artefacts are audible. But that is a small criticism, and I reckon she would have sounded better without it.

She is young. She wanted to do young stuff. Also, there is more money in young stuff. Her stuff is not too bad for that stuff, even if it is not my stuff. Sometimes new stuff is good just because it is new. Look at all the later experimental stuff Miles Davis did. I could not listen to that stuff even when jazz was my main stuff, but it was well regarded and probably provided a platform for other stuff I do enjoy.
 
As long as everybody gets some stuff, I guess we are all OK. I feel sorry for Miley, as I did for Britney. They are both victims of The Machine (and arguably horrible parents for letting it happen). And what have they done to this poor child's teeth? These things they have fitted just don't fit her face, and you can see her discomfort with them in her every movement.
 
I like how she doesn't leave anything for paparazzi, she loads the internet with nude pics herself. Attagirl.

And yeah, she is a kickass singer when she does something "serious".
