Just played a few songs through a Mesa MK V and then a couple through Marshall Silver Jubilee and finished off through a Carol-Ann OD2...

These are GREAT stories, straight from the man himself.
I love the part where the guy cuts up his less than stellar carvings! That's what's missing in today's youth...they are all being told they are perfect and special...self esteem my @$$
We need to teach them values and principles and how to EARN their way!!!
Exactly that and trophys for participation. If you dont work for it, put some sweat into it then it is not worth it.
I liked how the interview were 7 years apart but the stories did not change. They stayed true. Damn I need another Mesa now.
Must have been some fancy version with crazy wood or something...
The California Tweed 6V6 4:40 fall around:
$1700 for the head
$2300 for head and cab
$1900 for the combo
@Matt’s Music
i would probably hack it up within a week...once they take the first smack ..then they players !!
It's an Epiphone So Cal 50H: 50/25watt head [2*EL34s + half power switch], quasi 2 channel amp w/shared EQ, has a switchable Independent/Interactive EQ circuit, 3-Band +presence, Reverb, 2 button footswitch, no FX Loop. It works for Rock/medium Hard Rock. It's light! Especially compared to the Mesas and that 6505+ at the bottom of the picture. Got it used at GC with its' matching 412S cab halfstack. Unbeknownst to me the previous owner went nuts on the inside with a soldering iron just moving poop around changing caps and resistors with apparently no clear purpose. As it stands now, there are modifications and extra switches that don't do anything at all to enhance the sound and some of the stock controls are limited in their functionality because of the haphazard nature of the mods. I will eventually get it back to stock and reevaluate it.I need some info on that EPI amp too!!! looks killer

Good to know. Now I can cross you off of my $hit list. Now for the rest of the world...now that is SOME INFO!![]()
Good luck getting it sorted--- for the record (I hate soldering) --- so I would NEVER do that to an amp --![]()
