It happens Scott got a Derick Truck's SG 2014 sounded great Mark and I got one we didn't fair so well I got a dead tone turd so did Mark
as luck would have it scored a 1/1965 SG Standard at the same time rings like a bell the DT SG sounds like wet cardboard dead donkey

I think for any particular guitar, there's somebody out there it'd be perfect for.
But some just aren't for me.

Usually for me it's something in the neck or the overall configuration. Occasionally it's just dead wood.
I haven't encountered many of those, but they do exist.

Sad to see guitar like that going to one owner after another only to be found lacking each time.
Still, it'll find its perfect match eventually - and when it does, it'll still be in like-new condition...

It sold at a consignment store, so the owner got to play it first. Hope he enjoys it.
