We created a separate forum (room, wing, etc) on my corvette website for this same reason. It is called “In Memory Of” and then a thread for each member that passes.

Agree, but a word of caution.
We collectively are old and unfortunately others will be joining Kev soon. How big do we want these things to be and who decides who gets a memorial and who doesn't?

I am not in a hurry to make it onto the TTR memorial page. I think any TTR member who passes should be memorialized, IMHO anyways....

Just as we usually do with ambassador nominations. Those threads usually get started somewhere else, randomly. Then they get moved to the “news stand”. So in the spirit of the theme of the”tone rooms” forum, wouldn’t it make sense to have a sub forum titled something like “memorial hall/wing/etc”?
