After the gear hunt last 2 years..a lot has gone lately as thin down to what really use. Maybe now i appreciate this more Fender Jag-Stang,,i fought the scale for so long, thinking it couldn't deliver for some reason..can't reach so well on regular scale but i have given a few of the 24's a shot last few weeks. Think the Supro amps & the PV Blues Classic have given a tonal shift that is more natural to my strum style during singing & then outburst between. Been stripping things down & finding playing enjoyment way up..along with getting out of the box creativity. gear that inspires is what i look for. This thing chords awesome & has a built in nasty to it. It sits right on you so balanced..

Don’t know much about the Jag-Stang other than the Cobain affiliation. I have never played the 24” scale either. Does it feel that much different than a Gibson? The scale change is the same as going from a standard Fender to a Gibson, 3/4” difference.

I guess it would feel like a huge difference, though, going from a standard Fender to this? Do the frets feel too close together?

no not really (IMHO)
I was playing the Les Paul Recording-- then the Firebird -- then this
Surf Green Mustang-- (24" scale) no major "issues" in the switch

the scale from Firebird to Mustang is only .75" difference --- over the whole scale length-- Im not talented enough to notice thta little bit -- especially when you see the BIG BOOMERS on the wall there I play as well.....
the Thunder bird is 34" scale length -- now that I notice ;)
