I've never been diving.

How do you spark up underwater? Do you have to draw the smoke 35ft down a hose or something?

There's an air hose, a water tight chamber for the bowl and a built in lighter.
But unfortunately, no refills once submerged. Need to surface to fill the bowl.
Now this was before vape technology, that would have advanced the progress by several years.

Friend of mine made one of those when we were in High School. Used his Dad's fighter pilot mask and an old 5 gallon glass water bottle plus
your assorted tubing and stoppers.

We named it El Kabong.

It was a lot of fun until his dad found it...

It's like this thing - you manually pump your own air when your'e underwater.
I tried it.
