With regard to the back panel, as shown in this image....

Does the 2x16 ohm (center and far right jacks) indicate the you would connect a 16ohm load to each of those jacks???

Yes
But the early model’s had an issue with them ,, and on the MF official origin 50 thread there is a pic of the fix, that can be done by a tech ,, or yourself. Because when you plug 2 16 ohm cabs in , one of them will not work..

I’m going to put them in a vertical 2x12 Marshall cab.

They really are great speakers. The best part is their clarity. They don't have any "bad habits" like some speakers that have a "midrange spike," these are just very transparent.

They were designed to compete with the EVM-12L.
 
Get this....

I tried running the Origin with (1) cable to each speaker and then switching the cabinet to 'mono' and running just (1) cable, and the sound is different when running an independent cable to each speaker!!!! It's also LOUDER with 2 cables when compared to just one cable, which shouldn't happen, but does!!!!
