Marshall DSL40C Package:

Inspector #20

I am putting this on the market - not out of desperation - but out of a change in musical direction. I am in hopes I can seel this locally and avoid packing, shipping and potential for damage in transit.

2016 DSL40C bought brand new. Always covered when not in use. Absolutely flawless condition - No B.S. - No scuffs, tears, scratches, nothing.

Has a JJ5751 tube in V1, Tube Amp Doctor 7025WA's in V2, V3 & V4 and a matched pair of Electro-Harmonix EL-34's. Amp will come with a full compliment of spare tubes.

Speaker is a custom made 50 watt WGS Reaper 16Ω 12" with a 55Hz cone...though it is labeled 30 watt because WGS only produces one decal for the Reaper. Paperwork available on the speaker. Also comes with the stock (not blown out either) Clelestion 70/80 in the WGS box.

Also included is a flawless Weber Mass Lite 100 Watt Attentuator. The amp has a custom-made extra long speaker cable, so if the attenuator was somehow pushed off the amp, it would not pull the connections out of the speaker. Also included is a commercially made attenuator-to-amp dedicated speaker cable 3 feet long.

Asking $500.00 for the package as described with delivery available in the Los Angeles Basin....

This is a TTR only price. I might throw in the 2016 Gibson Les Paul 50's Tribute and Gator Hard Case and make it an even $1,000.00

I am offering this to our TTR fraternity first. It's not working out for me, although it is a great amp. No scuffs, no tears, always covered. make me an offer....

This packaged offer is very tempting... :BH: I just absolutely have no F'n room for another combo amp. But dang... If I did: I would sell the Weber attenuator and the Celestion speaker. That should get me a minimum of $100 to $150. A mint DSL40 for $350! Oh Lord!!!!!!

Yep Robert, I checked Reverb. These are selling at $425-$700+ Stock in used to New condition.

Yours has the upgraded speaker and tubes etc. If no sale on here, I'd definitely not screw yourself just to move it.

Lots of upgrades but not a highly valuable amplifier. When you compare the actual sale prices to the asking prices, there is often a pretty big gap.

Crazy!!!!!

Are you familiar with the classifieds at The Gear Page? You do have to be a "supporter" at $5/month (Or $12/year) to post an ad in the seller's Emporium. You'll be able to offer what you want to sell to many more serious buyers.

I have only listed on Reverb and E-bay....I appreciate that tip, Man.

I'm not really too concerned about losing money. It really just seems to be the way things go when you buy at retail. To be honest, I bought this amp, the tubes, the speaker and the attenuator all on money earned from gigging, so it's not like I skipped a car payment to buy this stuff.

Right now, I've got 2 weeks in which I can do nothing more than just read and research about amps. It's good to keep busy and take my mind off all the suffering going on here.
