Marshall DSL100hr fx loop vol drop

1. Take the knobs off, unscrew all the nuts.
Lift the circuit board out, and see if there is an adjustment pot on the other side of the board.
OR
2. Call the manufacturer and ask if there is a level adjust pot, to resolve the mismatch problem. Or ask them if there is any other update of fix for the audio level.
OR
3. Call K dog, and ask if there is any update to DSLhr that would resolve the effects return levels.

Oh sorry, e mail K dog.
OR
4. Call the Marshall factory in Milton Keynes.
Sometimes they will fix the problem for you while you are waiting.
But you will need to drive over to Milton Keynes.

The factory may customize your amp for free, and it might be worth while. They give you VIP treatment also.

Yes I sent them an e mail.
Wait for some answers.
The factory may have an update. ----it might be a software update.

But many Marshall amps all have the same problem. Effects pedals won't match to the amp audio levels.
This is not a new problem.

Marshall answered and old me that they had no update for the effects loop.

I mailed K Dog and maybe he knows something...

Unable to register on the TC electronics website (Music Tribe). Cannot e mail them at this time. I have sent them a tweet.

Suggest you proceed with looking inside the spark mini.

Ramo, can you PM the date code and serial number?

I don’t think we have had any updates to the loop. Can you send me the date code next to the serial number? (XX-XX)

Thanks

OK well...
there may be some other information but without the date code, Marshall won't pursue.

I personally:
many times Marshall effects loops did not match the effects pedals. This is a well known issue.
I usually modify the effects loop to correct the level problems.
But,
there is nothing really "wrong" with the amp, it's just made for a different type of effects unit.
