Not really. Wav asked both me and Mitch to be mods. We’d had a big influx of new members. A couple admins had decided not to be admins anymore. And we lost guitarweasel to cancer…. Who was a mod at the time. So here we are…. Whatever all that means.

For the original Orange sound that Peter Green, Ted Turner, Andy Powell, Jimmy Page, and many others chose, go with the original builder of Orange's amp. Get a Matamp. Then you'll be supporting a small business, and it's owner will be the one who is soldering all the components and putting together the amp. It's still a small operation in Huddersfield, England. They are not a large corporation. I'm glad I bought mine. It was a bucket list amp, and I am very happy with it.

Less than a year. Wav asked me and Mitch to be mods after guitarweasel passed, which was late summer of 2024. John turned 70 in May. My turn was in Oct. John passed before he had a chance to give me a hard time for catching up to him. Still sucks losing him like we did.That gray banner under his avatar is a clue!
