El 34, 3 separate channels, this is a very cool amp. Chan 1 has a great clean with modes being able to be changed..The amp has 100-50-25 capabilities..so it has so many ways to drive if from headroom that never runs out until you are deaf or break it early on clean like jtm45
Chan 2..reminds me of a hot plexi then push the buttons in, its now a bulldozer...chan 3 ..i believe gets in my jcm900 SLX territory..it is an amazing lead tone with sustain forever. My only negative if there is one..its a great amp but if you have amps that it is trying to represent ..its close to them but not quite. It does have its own mojo going on. It will metal up on gt75/v30 mix or old school on greenbacks. . the transformer is very heavy,,you have to hold the amp on the heavy side or it will tilt fast. Marshall came up with a way to Honor their History up to that point all in 1 amp. Change the tubes..2nd mortgage
