I struck a deal. with mine..we have a mess cause of accident...i sold everything (harley-quit the gym ect) we made a pact..when she is allowed to drive again..after all this hardship..J gets a 1 Owner big block trans am.prob 455 SD...her dream car..i get equal amt in gear,,,,i want that bad boy car to be a 1 owner..no miles,,,lol
We agreed. tho...all my harley money..thats my gear money..i will be so proud to go get that car..that means she is healed...can have a life again with her in no pain..also do this every once & awhile..allows many a guitars to waltz right on by..she just goes..another one....yup...bills are paid..our kids are healthyjewelry.jpg

lol I do this every once in a while....last one was a Leveon with chocolate diamonds she wanted, cost more than my SG! :mad:
 
I hide them in plain sight, and in the case of my latest endeavor the white cab, I moved some items around and set the avt50h and cab aside for the future sale all is good!

sweet.no hiding here either..my stuff is from 1 end of the house to the other..... i got her involved in the process.. chase gear NJ-Philly.Baltimore..wherever i need to go..we make a day out of it..get a good meal...lots of good conversation away from the home day to day stuff..

Great!

My wife is a great vocalist. i ddin't mention the Taylor acoustic I have...which was also a gift from her.

I'd gladly take on an acoustic gig with her.

She recently did an a capella, national anthem performance for a retiring servicemember. She was absolutley perfect in pitch and dynamics.

I suggested to her that she advertise for singing the Anthem.

My wife is only a fan of Latin music, but she is super supportive of me as an artist and encourages me continuously.

I dont have tons of gear because its unnecessary to me. 3 or 4 more guitars wouldn't earn me a dollar more, and I dont bond with people or guitars very well, so that's an issue in and of itself. However, i did buy a second GE-7 Friday night which was pressed into service Saturday as a solo boost device.

I love playing music and i love getting paid to play it. I like to be always moving forward...

I need gifts like that from mine! Now your making me want to poke the lion....she is sleeping and has to work 3rd tonight but I just got a Lovepedal Kanji in the mail :eek: If she gets mad I will just show her your post and say maybe if she bought me stuff like that I may have thought about her sleeping.....I buy her a lot of jewelry and new cars (she got a new 1 a couple months ago) & my daughter got my Benz now & I traded my Trans Am in on the new Jeep....:unsure: ummmdamnnnit I think I am getting fooked around here!:poo:

I've never once lied or hidden anything from my wife. I have two hobbies that I spend significant amounts of money on; music gear and wristwatches, and the music stuff is far less expensive than the watches, so anytime I want something I just tell her I'm doing it/have done it and that's that. She has a handbag sickness that I have no trouble with, so that evens things out more or less.
