Anyone here a fan of MAD magazine? I have been reading them since I was 12 years old. I currently subscribe to it and still love it today just as much as I did then, if not more. I got a new one in the mail yesterday. I read them in bed at night before I cut the lights out. I find myself laughing out loud when I read them. The make fun of everything!

We used to have a MAD Magazine saying, as kids growing up...Fellow #1 - "Hey, you go to that party in the next town last night?" Fellow #2 -"Yep, it'll make the local papers!" Fellow #3 - "Sure it will, and it'll read like something out of MAD Magazine."

Yeah they are still in publication. I have a 2 year subscription. I used to read Cracked as well but they are no longer in publication though. They do have a website.

I used to love it as a kid. There was even a version translated into Norwegian, but the jokes didn't always translate well, so I tended to buy the American version whenever I could. It wasn't always easy to find, though. Don Martin was always my favorite.

LOVE MAD Magazine! I was buying back in the 60's when I was only 9! I just introduced my 9 year old grandson to it. I bought him 3 old books of "Snappy Answers to Stupid Questions" He is already a smart a$$ and his comedic sarcasm runs deep!

I also love CARtoons...

Cartoons, yeah Krass & Bernie.
Almost forgot about that one.

Yeah I still love Mad. Pick it up at the grocery store when I can find it.
Stupid money now, like 6 bucks an issue.

That despicable magazine was part of my upbringing.

And for a long time, my avatar in most any social network and guitar forums was Alfred E. Newman's face.

My Nick Name when I was in Korea was Alfred E. Came in handy if a girl walked up and called you Al in the company of your woman...
