I don’t know if Ampmadscientist still does, but he definitely was living in San Luis Obispo. The one time we actually met, he introduced himself as Mikey.

AMS did reply to a post I made in another forum about less than a year ago. But I can’t remember which forum or what the thread was. He was posting at Thegearpage forum, but last sign of activity over there was December 27, 2023.

Update:

I forgot I had his old phone number in my contacts list. I texted him and then he called me back. He’s still in San Luis Obispo and alive and well. Or if I quote AMS: “Recovering”! I told him some TTR members were asking about him. Don’t know if he will be checking in at TTR, but it sounded like his involvement with other forums was too much BS for him, and he wants to chill.
