Right On, Bro... Thank you very much...

Yeah, I was wondering about that, too. Ninjaking67 started this thread with a 22 watter. How about 25 watts?SO watt are we saying is "low watt" then ????
My Allen Amps Chihuahua. Built from a kit. It's a Class A single-ended tube amp, operating at 6 watts with a single 6V6GT. The output tranny is capable of 10 watts, and by replacing a couple power resistors and switching the output tranny's impedance speaker lead, I can operate this amp with a 6L6 or EL34. The amp circuit is based on a Blackface Champ, but there are some added modern extras designed into the circuit by David Allen. The extras are: Tube driven Reverb (9", 3 spring tank), beefier speced trannies, a Mid/Raw control that can also be activated with a footswitch, and a Master Volume control. I also opted for a 10" speaker instead of the usual 8".

I was hoping you would show up in this thread. And what I was really hoping for... was for GUT SHOTS...I have a DST Engineering U84TNT that's a great little amp.
Have you ever looked inside? You're a lucky Mofo for owning a couple of DST amps. Why did Mr. Bob stop building amps?I was hoping you would show up in this thread. I really like that tube clock!Thought I would post the Trinity 18W Plexi clone and cab that I have. It is a blend of the '68 Plexi and the TMB circuit.

The cab is an early to mid '80's Marshall 4x10 with Creambacks. It is in excellent condition and sounds wonderful, especially at window rattling volumes.
I think that is very selfish on Bob Dettorre's part, to deprive us nerds from some glorious amps. Hopefully grandkids will kick in, and he'll restart amp builds again! Now he spends more time with his wife enjoying life.
I have never built a kit amp but have built 151 scratch builds so far.
I did buy my sister in law a Friedman Runt 20 best sounding amp in it's price range in Auckland NZ.
I did look at the parts in her new amp cheap parts I did not get a photo but this is a 15 watt Friedman DS 15

I learned a lot. I sold most of my vintage amp collection to get in the game $750K at least. I have two houses full it's a sickness
The cool part is the connection's I have world wide now And some of my mentors still living. It all started you can't do that
And servicing amp collections real famous people some have me sign contracts that I won't share any information nondisclosure
I can't get the parts I want now it's over. 35 year run it's all good.
Sundragon
OH now the Jimmy Page amp for the first Led Zeppelin LP
Then why did Page fire his Amp technician for posting this photo.

You lived it, man - congrats...
You lived the dream others have only dreamed off...
I truly admire people who have done and obtained what you have...
Thumbs up, man, thumbs up !!!
The wife and I have been working toward starting a business for a few years now and are presently trying to find a home we can start out of the garage type thing.
Good for you and your wife, I sure miss my wife next month she has been dead for one year. The Axis is a Page owned amp. Got a gig tonight later
