Lovin the Blues!! Pedal order?

Well, it took all of ten minutes to realize my new blues pedal is the new king on my board. Love it. Finally picked up a pedal that I really like.

Ill take advice on the order (the four connected) . How would you arrange them?

What one would you remove?....im thinking overdrive. They all have their purpose, but I'd like to keep it minimal and squeak in the tuner. I've been doing open mic lately so being a minimalist is the way to go...In .....N.......Out!

Obviously I'll come up with what works for me, i just like to hear opinion from the tone crew.

Pick up one of these BCB-60 cases and you can setup like Sysco said and add the flanger. Comes with its own power supply and lid so it’s like a small brief case. You can carry 2 guitar cords in it and you’d only carry a guitar, amp and this case.

Yes sir....that BCB-60 has been on my list for a while. I'm always looking for a nice used, but I'll probably break down and get a new one.

Would you think I can put my TC Tuner in there? Do they stay snug? Never saw one in person, but I'm guessing it's squished in the foam for support?

My BD2 has been my go to drive pedal since my wife gave it to me four years at Christmas. I mostly set it with the level around 3:00 and the drive and tone as low as they’ll go. I keep my amp with some power tube breakup. When I hit the BD2 it really cranks up the amp for a blues solo.

I’d place them in order from the lowest gain pedal to the highest gain pedal.

And, I’d put the chorus in your effects loop, if you have one.

That's exactly what I did. Lowest gain first. Here's the final pecking order. I think it sounds great.

Eventually I'm going to change everything. This is going to be my setup for open mic jams untill I play out. For now, I'm eliminating the tuner, my locking trem staye In lock tight tune...especially for only 3-4 songs.

As for the chorus in the loop, I completely agree...that will be my future setup. I'm currently using the "house" amp, and I basically have seconds to set up. I need some experience with live sets, so I'm thrilled my band is doing this mostly for me. They've each been giging for 30 years....im green.....but, not for long!!!

Yep, the foam holds them in place. If ya go this route do a Boss tuner too.
