Loose Cannons

Woah, not what I was expecting...
Very very nice, I dig the layering and overlapping of the parts.
Had to do a double listen, just for fun.

Edit, did a third listen, I'd love to hear it without the drum track.

Unfortunately, I don't have the original project or stems from 2017. It was just a for fun recording, Lindisfarne's Meet Me On The Corner overlaying Pachelbel's Cannon, to show the musical relationship.

A really long time ago a few of us from the church I went to before moving 200 miles east started a small singing group. Four ladies and me. Obviously I did the bass since that’s really all I can sing. The four ladies covered Soprano, tenor and alto. One of the ladies had a piano that had what I referred to as a magic box attached. It could record. Multi track/layers. She would work out the piano. I’d put it to cassette. We’d hit the local churches as their special music for a Sunday morning service.

One of the songs we did was Cannon in D that someone had put words to. I like the song anyway. But with words, it was pretty cool.
