Hazards:
Freezing rain, at times mixed with ice pellets, this morning and afternoon. Ice accumulation of 2 to 5 mm possible.
Snow, at times heavy, this afternoon through tonight. Total snowfall accumulations of 10 to 20cm

Got nothin’ happening in NE Illinois. My son that lives near Peoria says he can’t see his backyard due to blowing snow…..

So yeah. Stay inside and stay safe Norm. Enjoy the fury of Mother Nature.
 
Just got a couple texts from My son that lives near Peoria Ill. Interstate east of them and south of them. Closed right now for multiple accidents. Most likely due to white out conditions. Heavy snow coupled with 40mph wind.
