Looking for TV/movie recommendations

We have been watching the Netflix series from 2006 ish Dexter.
We dig it.

Big Casablanca fan here, dig Bogart in general.
Clocked the Big Sleep again a few weeks back, then the EVIL Comcast took the TCM channel out of our lineup.
Hate Them.

A few others I caught recently and recommend:
Bride of Frankenstien
The Blues Brothers
Animal House
Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy - kind of slow, complex interleaved spy story; I missed some things and may have to rewatch it.
Speaking of Gary Oldman, The Fifth Element is cool if you dig fantasy SciFi.
Speaking of Bruce Willis, Looper and 12 Monkeys are pretty cool.

Pulp Fiction - just so many layers of cool in that film.

Agree with @smitty_p some of those old horror black and whites are great when you consider the genesis - human fear of death, disease, the dark, etc.
And the Eastwood westerns, as well as the Dirty Harry films, and Gran Torino.

The 1922 silent Nostferatu really creeps me out, need to do that one again soon.

The Wicker Man is a bit odd but fun, and you get some booby shots of an incredible Britt Ekland.

I too am mad that T CM got dropped many good flics there.
Was always a favorite on rainy days when I had no work!!
Cheers Mitch

Just watch it! Trolls can smell Christians!

Really?

I’m a Christian.

I’ve never seen any trolls, though.

But, these “Troll” things interest me.

If they can smell me, I’m pretty sure that will make it easier for me to catch a few, as well.

So, I gotta ask...do they taste good with “Old Bay” seasoning?

I’ve lived in Maryland long enough to appreciate Old Bay on most things...maybe even trolls!!!

Is it easier to catch trolls on Rapallas, spinners, or Top-Water lures?

Finished all available Peaky Blinders.

I thought it was good, the wife hated it.

Sorta kinda like a Sons of Anarchy but set in early 1900s Birmingham.

Amazon prime video original series....”The Boys”
Okay, so I've started this one. Not generally a huge fan of superhero type stuff, but I'm a huge fan of dark humor/gallows humor. This hits the spot, man. I can't believe I didn't get into this before lol

I had been seeing this Slipknot video for some time, not knowing what the cutscenes were from, but it's apparent now....

......anyway, (y)(y) for The Boys!

Hahahahahahaha! Post #2! Personally, “The Boys” was one of the better things I’ve seen of late. My sense of taste/humor is questionable though...

We just finished the mini series Chernobyl.
Horrifying, as I remember that pretty vividly.
Worth a watch if you are interested in the story; not a fun or particularly entertaining ride.
I liked Jared Harris in The Terror mini series too.

I really liked Chernobyl and had no idea when it happened how bad it really was! I was living in Japan at the time and we could have been royally screwed!
