Yea, I'm a huge Ibanez fan.!!!!

If you don't like extremely comfortable, fast and easy playing necks, with superior tone and quality, you will hate this guitar.

IBANEZ Prestige S6570SK-STB

AKA, Ibanez S Model

It has a Bound Mahogany body with a Lacewood top.

These are stock photos. I will post mine when available. My top is completely different, in that it's much more "aggressive" in pattern and color.

For those who don't know the S model.....it's a VERY thin, quality player.

The prestige series are known for their craftsmanship and neck/fret quality.
Mission= Precision, Performance, Playability. And trust me, it's true. I encourage everyone to try Prestige Ibanez. Again, big fan.

  • Dimarzio Air Norton neck p/u

  • Dimarzio True Velvet single

  • Dimarzio Tone Zone bridge p/u
Again, stock photos...for now.

I like the Japanese made Ibanez's. If I ever became serious in owning one, I would look for the Prestige "S" style or the Prestige "A" style (symmetrical double cut). IMO, the S style doesn't look as shreddy compared to the Ibanez RG's or their other sharper and pointier guitars.

I was really pushing for an RG. I just couldn't find the one that made me say, YEA!!

Guess that means my next guitar will be an RG. :)

And yea, the Japanese Ibanez are the cherished ones. From the Fuji-gen Plant. They make some models for Ibanez, Epiphone, Yamaha and Fender (the import Special Interest Group nature model), G&L and others.

Now that's a stunning top on that guitar BocceBall69er!!! It looks very quilted and simply gorgeous. I'm sure Joe Satriani would want to have one like that.;)

;>)/

Yup, it is gorgeous. However, mine is going to be a bit more "quilty"... It's not as subtle. I think it will get a mixed reaction....but I love it. I wanted something different, and I think I got it.
I'm rocking either way , Blackster :)

Just a few stats on the S6570 neck.

  • Prestige Super Wizard HP 5 piece Maple/ Walnut neck w/ KTS Titanium rods

  • 17mm at the 1st and 19mm at the 12th fret

  • 430mm Radius Bound Marbled Rosewood fretboard

  • Offset dot inlays

  • 43mm nut width

  • Jumbo frets w/ Prestige fret edge treatment
Can't wait to wrap my mitts around this thing.
