Mint chocolate chip man here, though I dabble in some others.

I dig my teles but they are not my first / goto guitar.

I dig those pointy guitars but got the 2 Vee guitars with rounded ends cause I'm dangerous around pointy objects.
I like those safety scissors too.

Having more than 1 guitar does not make me a better player. I just enjoy playing them all (badly).

I've been playing my 2 recent beater / rescue Squier strats mainly lately. My dog howls when I play, until I stop.
When I start again, he howls some more, then runs away. Not kidding.

My dog crawled up in my lap to make me quit playing one day. I thought that was a touch rude of her.

Also had the same issue with a fender jaguar. I don’t know what it was about that guitar but I couldn’t make it work for me. I don’t think it’s the scale length, I’m not going to blame the pickups… it may of been the neck/fretboard. Les Paul’s, sg’s, explorers, V’s, Strats no matter what style or brand. I can play on any of those all day long… teles, jaguars, and jazz masters not so much.. I’m not even going to get into semi hollow and hollow bodies… those are just really uncomfortable to me…
