Line 6 POD Go?

Anyone use one of these?
$600 new, but there's one on my local CL for $200.

Line 6 makes great modelers , price sounds good.
I paid about the original price for my HX Stomp. I wouldn’t trade it .

Well ? Did it happen Fitz?
After a week, the jagoff emailed me and said the price was $250, not the $200 that is STILL showing on the CL listing.
Still a decent price, but I told him I'm not playing a negotiating game where the price goes up.
We exchanged some insults, and I just posted a CL listing with a screen shot of his listing and let everyone know he's a douche bag. :yesway:

There are lot of dumb dumbs on CL.
Sorry to hear that Fitz.

HX stomp on reverb $448.
At that price point, there's a lot of options.
I'm always looking for crazy bargains, and local with no shipping is usually a bonus.

I'm a fan of Boss stuff, and at around $200-ish, the new Boss GX-1 is tempting.
Looks like an updated AIRD version of the GT-1.
So new there's no used ones out there...

If I up my budget to around $400, I'd jump on the GX-10 with a touchscreen and loop for 4CM.

In worship team we had a guy using a GX6. But the cool one was the lady that played violin plugged into a GX 10.

Got thinking about this. GX wasn’t sounding right. The two boxes were a GT6 and GT10. Sucks to get old and forgetful.
I used to have a GT-8 and used the MIDI control to send channel switch commands to the 6101 with different patches.

I also briefly had a GT-100, but the menus and interface made it cumbersome to make adjustments on the fly.
Always liked the analog interface of my old ME-80, but no loop made it a front-end only thing.

The thing I like most about a lot of newer MFX units is the smaller form factor.
Those older Boss boards are gigantic.

Um, yeah, $1,400 is a whole different level of coinage.

I'm not really interested in amp modeling and cab IRs.
My main interest in an MFX unit is quality pedal tones in a versatile and convenient package.
I like a variety of drive pedals to hit the front end of my amps, and I'm an EQ, chorus & reverb in the loop junkie.

The problem I have is cheap MFX units never sound as good as my real pedals, and good MFX units have all kinds of functionality I don't use - but have to pay for just to get good sounding effects.

Well that’s a conundrum, no cheap ones so donner, tonex, mooer are out.
Tech 21 RK5, $329
If Ritchie Kotzen endorsed it I would try it.
He is on tour with Adrian Smith of Iron Maiden .
They have a blues rock band.

I'm not categorically eliminating any brands because of their name or price.
Donner Arena for around $200 - no loop.
Mooer GE-200 for around $200 - no loop.
Tonex just looks like a complete PITA to set-up...

Joyo makes some of my favorite pedals - like the $20 Ultimate Drive (I have 2).
I'd consider their GEM Box III for around $200 - but no loop.
They recently released a GEM Box K8, but at $450...? - I'm going Boss without hesitation.

The RK5 has a effects loop.
The RK5 v3 retains the same SansAmp section, Reverb/Delay/Roto section, and Richie's Signature OMG overdrive. Features include a switchable Pre/Post Boost to beef up drive and distortion or increase the overall volume to punch up fills and solos, along with the addition of an Effect Loop.

I like the small size of the RK5 - but no chorus?

Reminds me of the Moskey RC5 I had for years and recently sold - complete P.O.S.

At $299, I might jump on this new listing.
I feel like I already know what I'd be getting
