So, no experience with Line-6 amps, except for our latest demo recording. I have to admit; the sound works for us.
With my Marshalls, I always seemed to have too much bottom end and with my Blackstar not quite enough and never quite enough gain.
With the borrowed Line-6 75 watt head and 4x12 cabinet, I seem to get a lot of gain/presence and thick bottom end that still retains the ability to cut through the mix.
Our vocalist told me yesterday (candidly after rehearsal) that the sound quality - specifically the ability to hear the guitar/bass separation - was the best yet and that he noticed an unmistakable difference in the tone with the double neck as the main guitar.
So, the sound continues to evolve...
