Liking the snow

So many of the featured businesses were my customers years ago -- fun to watch -- been to all those places
Kermit is a trip
and the folks at the Westin were always great to work with
Sloppy Joes manger was a tool....
Hemingway's marketing department was VERY professional.

so many memories ... lol ... so many great places NOT mentioned! --

I sincerely hope to never see another snowflake for as long as I live. I literally moved to Southern California to escape the comparatively mild yet still horrible Winters in the Mid-Atlantic.

Northern Illinois ain’t so bad. No hurricanes. An occasional tornado. Last full blown blizzard we had was 2011. Before that was 78/79 winter. We will get those blizzard like conditions….. just the wind and not much snow. The fault line that runs thru Illinois is well south of St Louis. Summer temps average mid 80s for highs. Winter average is teens/20s. We do see a few 100+ in the summer and below zero in the winter, but not for extended periods. We do get summer humidity….. not Florida humidity…. But not Arizona dry either. Those days are nasty.
