IMHO, there is no better tuner for live performances. Easy to read from standing, mutes signal and has a strobe setting....

I know it’s just me being anal.... but I don’t clip anything on my head stock. Not a tuner. Not my capo. Like a few others have already stated. Got a Boss TU-3 on the board... always plugged in. Also double as a mute so I can change guitars without scaring the little kids in the front row when it goes..... BANG.

I use a Snark pedal tuner. Mainly because it's easy to read. The Boss TU3 was difficult to read for me.

I bought mine in 2011. Metal case. Not sure what i.paid back then....

This is what I use too. You could pound nails in with it all day and it would still work perfectly at the gig that night.
