As per the title. I know some people (Ahem, Robert...) have some awesome daily drivers, but let's see how the other half live. You know, like you and me...
I'll start:
For my daily cruising around, heading to work, shopping and dropping off the kids, I have a 2005 Hyundai Santa Fe GLS 4x4. It's old, it can be a pain in the ass, but it does what I need it to do.
The bike is a 2006 Kawasaki Vulcan VN 900 that I bought off a friend. It's not the quickest or best looking bike around, but it's comfortable, has plenty of power and is actually very maneuverable for a 600lb bike. That doubles as a daily driver in nice weather, or my cruising with friends machine on the weekends.

How do you find the Cherokee? I had a 1995 XJ 4.0L that was fantastic unless it was hot. Anything over 90f and it overheated. Apart from that it was an awesome truck.
One of the most indestructible engines ever built. I take the the thermostat out. At 250,000 miles, sounds like a tractor till its warm & will go anywhere. I tow , haul big blocks in the back, climb up places you are not supposed in it, absolutely love it

My 2012 Tacoma, bought it a couple of years ago. I've never been happier with any vehicle I've ever owned, planning on this lasting the rest of my life.

The wife and I work from home now, so our Daily commute is from the couch to the desk. We only get out maybe once a week at most, which has started to cause issues with our "daily driver." The wife's Subaru has chewed up 3 batteries in the last few months. My car, ate a battery a few months ago.

Retired now, so it doesn’t get driven daily. But it used to. Got this 07 Civic in 13 when I started working at the Marina I retired from in 2020. When I went looking for a used daily driver, my criteria was….. small car….. cute…. Fun to drive…. Decent gas mileage (35avg)…. Killer sound system (multi speaker and sub standard equip) I checked off every box.

Well my daily driver is 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe, just a great vehicle to drive , lots of room for camping gear and my R/C Planes. A comfortable ride and with the 2.0 litre Turbo, plenty of punch for passing or getting to the flying field quickly.

2020 Allen Edmonds!

Ever since I moved downtown I basically never see a car anymore. Man, I never realized what a burden driving is until I didn’t have to do it every day. Fast getting to the point where I hope to never get in a car again.

When/if I need to haul anything, we have my wife’s SUV. Comes complete with 5000# towing package. The thing is a truck with a SUV body and 7 seat capacity.

I do sorta get that. Got my license in 1970. Between personal vehicles and work related driving a rough estimate is I’ve driven between 3/4 mil to a million miles in those 53 years. Always loved being behind the wheel. Frankly as a passenger I don’t ever really get comfortable. Rather drive. But it is getting less fun. Just too many stupid people on the road today that has no business having a drivers license.

I don't think I ever truly loved driving except fot the couple of years that I was still a teenager, and that was only because it equated to freedom.
Past that, it was a task that was necessary for transportation to and from whatever place I needed to be.

The driving death knell for me was commuting to Downtown Los Angeles from Redondo Beach - its was a distance of only about 22 miles, but it was a minimum of a 70-minute commute and on the wrong day coould easily be 2 hours. I did that for about 3 years and vowed that never again would I have to be in a car for longer than 30 minutes at a time unless it involved a pool and Mai-Tai on the other end of the drive. Now, I am at the point where I absolutely dread having to get in a car for any reason.

That's before you get to the expense and the fact that its the most dangerous thing most of us will do in our daily lives.

Chevy Silverado. I could walk for hours and hours and never reach anywhere. Still gotta drive here. The older I get, sometimes it does seem like a chore. I did used to actually enjoy being on the road - until I became a trucker for a stretch. That ruined it for me. Even then though, wheels rolling and truck on the road were my favorite part of the job.
