LETS GO!

First car I owned that didn't have a V8 with at least a 2bbl on it was our 86 Cavalier..... and it had throttle body fuel injection.

My mother had a 1982 Type 10 Cavalier. It had a progressive two-barrel carb - the Varajet 2SE.

On my Nova, I went old-school with it. The thermostatically-controlled choke was sometimes a little finicky, so I just removed the bi-metallic thermostatic element and installed a manual choke control cable.

Know all about installing manual choke cable. Installed a different carb in my Charger. Didn’t come with automatic choke. So like you. In went a cable.

Considering there was a stretch of several decades where I wouldn’t miss a nascar race on TV….. I’ve only ever been to one in person. It was either 69 or 70 since those were the only years the winged cars were run. Atlanta on the true oval before they ruined it by making it a D shape like Charlotte. Petty won.
