LETS GO!

Bought mine in 1984
Best high school car on school grounds
the engine is 528 cubic inches
The camshaft is done by a friend of mine who has been in the master engine builders competition for 20 years custom grind
Just getting ready to drive it some this year
Kinda upset our local Drag strip Bandimere closed after 50+ Years :(
528 cubes.... that should be able to displace some asphalt.

pretty wild, does Mopar typically runs more exhaust duration like Ford? Ford always did because the heads were always weak on exhaust side as far as port size. I did my own own heads last year . Gasket matched, took about 2 weeks grinding 2 hours a day but i easily made 75 more HP.

My bad that was Don's cam card..now am really confused cause chevy usually the same

I had a buddy with a 360 gremlin
And a buddy with a 289 pinto

Very nice Challenger you have sweet car!! Wow those Gremlins were an ugly looking vehicle eh? That Gremlin would be faast! My buddy had a Ford Pinto, i didn't much care for the style of those eithier. With that 289 in your buddy's Pinto that would move out quick!

Completely done in my garage last summer. Ported heads, really spent time setting this up from intake to exhaust. as far as volumetric efficiency & right gearing & RPM range up through the gears. 4.10 Rear. 2800 lbs, i ready for the big blocks in the 1/4..lets go..lol

Cool stuff. I was originally into Mopar. When i was 14 my dad said, you work for it you can get car. Cut grass all summer . We were driving up the River above Harrisburg, There she sat. 1970 Roadrunner, 383 magnum, auto, air grabber hood. $800. Weeds all around it, ran but torqueflight tranny was dead.

When i turned 16, had taken it all apart with the old manuals. no hop up, didnt have the money but fixed everything on the car. had a sweet ride at 16

Then, on way home from school one day..we being stupid, baseball batted a mailbox. the guy chased us home. My dad & him worked out i would fix his mailbox. What the kicker was ..since it always got hit out on that road. It had rebar in the mailbox & was concreted in 3 ft deep. My dad made me sell my car & pay for it. Kudos to my Dad, he did the right thing in life. I learned rebar bending, concrete pole setting & how to lose your car to stupidity. On the bus my whole senior year instead of a killer 70 Roadrunner i spent 2 summers restoring.

Im still on the lookout for a 70 GTX :)

Mine is nothing like what you guys have. But thought Id share anyway. 1977. L48 350. Bone stock except for an Edelbrock Performer and Holly. I did paint the manifold Chevy Blue. Bought it used and it was not clean. In trying to clean it and make it the pretty aluminum shine.... I made it worse. So blue it is. A little stealth going on there for the uninformed. Nothing special, but it's mine and it is fun to drive. And just enough power it can gt me in trouble if I let it..... but not so much I'll hurt myself.
