Just finished watching Remembrance day Ceremonies . Let us never forget, those brave Men and Women who served in our armed forces. Who gave the Supreme sacrifice for us all. Because of them we have freedom today.

Many came back wounded in body and mind, and live today with the scars of war. And many never came back home, Widows , children, family members lost loved ones.

Both fathers served. Mine was Army. My wife’s was Navy. Late 40s into the 50s. I have 2 brother in laws that served in the navy. Two nephews that were Army. Both did time in the Middle East and Afghanistan. Had two coworkers that served in the 60s. One never left Muscatine Iowa. The other did his active on a river boat in Viet Nam. And then my most recent employment, worked with a retired Navy guy. Did his 20 and went to work at the Marina I retired from.

Long winded way to say….. thank you Veterans for your service.
