Smitty, I totally know this and yet I totally hate hate hate having to WORK @ eating. What, How, When, How much and of what type.

I can see I will need to shoot for NEVER deriving pleasure from food ever again if I am to expect to stave off the majorly scary side effects of diabetes.

Number 6 reminds me of a joke.

Blind Man and his seeing eye dog go into a department store in a mall.
He gets the leash taut and proceeds to get the dog airborne and swings him in a circle round and round.

A store clerk comes over and asks, " Can I help you?"

The blind man says, " Nope, I'm Ok, we're just looking around. "

I have a blind friend who was sighted for about 50 years. He can sense the presence of people and especially the smells of ladies ( perfumes etc. )

Smitty, I was in a musical instrument shop in Westminster ( Maryland not England) and saw a guy checking out some guitars and test playing them.

He sounded pretty good actually. I made conversation with him and he informed me he was actually a bass player and was lefty. Of course the guitars he was playing were righty. How he did it, still stupifies me.

The last resolution I made and was able to keep was over twenty years ago. My resolution was to not make any more new year resolutions. That was the year 2000 on new years day and I have been holding strong now for 22 years!
