I voted for either. I kind of like the white customs, but my wife says it has to be black. I will defer to her on this as it increases my chances of actually getting one.

Y'know, If I walked into a shop and that was a brand-new guitar it'd be a decided no-go. But I fell in love with the Silverburst Custom's the moment I first saw one in 1979 and it had been a bit of a grail for me for many years. Now, when I look at that yellowed lacquer on a 41-year-old guitar I am smitten with the color. And when I see brand-new shiny Silverbursts now they look weird to me.

If its a Black Les Paul Custom gots to be a old Black Beauty. Maybe one with those weird lookin P90s. Staple pickups maybe there called. Somebody on here gots one. Maybe 67 Plexi. ? If not a old Black Beauty its a White one all the way.
