Good for you man. Nice to know your dad ultimately helped you get it even though it is sad.
I waited (why? Why, man, why?) till 2017 when I was playing nearly 40 years till I got my first Les Paul. New. Sheesh.
Loved loved it.
I now own 7!! All somewhat different.
