Well, after my chiropractor appointment, I shot up to my house to see if anything else had been stolen by the jerks that took my ladders. Nothing else, so I called 911 to get a cop to come and write his report. After finishing with him, I got heading down to meet the guy with the Ibanez 2355. He had both cases, the original pots, wires, pickups and pick guard, and a Cube amp to plug in to test for sound. I noticed it seemed to have a narrow c shaped neck and also some apparent to me, flaws in the edge of the neck under the fretboard/binding where the neck joins the body. I turned the guitar down side up and looked in that area and as it had it, it seemed less of a void on the high E side. As I told Mdubya, the low E side of the binding/fretboard looks like a road that overhangs an area eroded out by rain. The guy told me it came that way, so I just said ok. I really think this was a sloppy fix by the builder or previous owners jacked something up and the repair didn't stay put.
Anyway, I am thinking of passing on it at the $1000 price. If it were $500 I might say "What the Hey,"
