LOL! Thank you Sapient.Larrivee is a pimpin' guitar in with the top notch names like Martin, Taylor, Lowden, Bourgeois, Collins, Santa Cruz, Furch, etc.
The only drawback is it's Canadian made.
Completely kidding! Just wanted to get Session 5's goat a bit. Lol.
Congrats on a very beautiful, high-end and well respected guitar and brand.

Really digging that maple trim. Look great!
So after rereading 67plexi’s post and following the link that he so graciously provided, I realize just how much of a dumbass I am. The s/n is exactly where the link says it will be, located on the neck block inside the guitar. D’OH!!!
Larravie is a better designed and built guitar than a Taylor at any comparable price point. I would always opt for the Larravie against a Taylor.I have an opportunity to pick up a Larrivee D-04W acoustic dreadnaught in a trade. The "W" in the model stands for Walnut (sides and back) but it has a Canadian Sitka Spruce top. The entire guitar is solid wood, so no laminates or veneers, and the neck is one piece Mahogany. The fretboard and bridge are Ebony. It is one of 75 examples that were made as a limited run for Long and McQuade, the biggest music retailer here in Canada. It also has a Fishman acoustic pickup, factory installed.
Do any of you have any experience with Larrivee? I was initially looking for a Taylor but this one has presented itself and I am seriously considering it.
Any information or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
I was about to type the same.Really digging that maple trim. Look great!
