Well…about that….

Both the Rivera website and the Sweetwater website say the foot switch is included, but I haven’t received it. I did send an email back to Sweetwater asking about that. I suppose it may still be on its way in a different package, but we’ll see what Sweetwater says. I do have a Marshall foot switch that will work in the mean-time, but if this amp is supposed to come with one, I want to have it.

Thanks, Don. It also came with absolutely no documentation, which struck me as a little unusual. I sent an email to Rivera asking about activating my warranty.

I’m assuming some of these incidental things are ultimately due to C0vid-related issues.

Indeed, the lack of “a complete package” seems very unusual. That amp looks to be quite a piece of kit. Every time I look into the specs on it, I think, “wow! The things that can be done with that set up!” It looks like an excellent choice for a working human’s daily driver rig!

Yeah. Like I said, I’m giving them the benefit of the doubt given the current state of supply issues.

We’ll see how things work out. None of this keeps me from using the amp, but I do want everything I paid for, being that it is a brand new amplifier.

The amp arrived packaged in a sealed Rivera shipping box, right?

Did you at least get an AC power cable with it?

No. It came in a plain box from Sweetwater. I’m guessing shipping costs are causing manufacturers to cut costs by using less expensive packaging. The Eminence speaker came the same way.

I did get a phone call from Sweetwater when it came in, and confirmation emails when it shipped.

Yes, It did have the power cord. Actually, it’s a pretty long cord, which I was glad to see.
