Java, most of those Ausisie beers are served ice cold so you CAN'T taste them and some of the actually have no taste so you may as well drink them ice cold!Technically that is a stout, so in a different league to those Aussie "beers" (the vast majority of which are lagers and served at near freezing temperatures thus rendering them devoid of taste).

I'm rather happy to say I didn't click on any of the above links.
They say don't knock it till you have tried it but ... NO, I aint gunna go down the "Metal Up Your Ass" road :-(
Fantastic interplay between the two guitar parts....Doesn't it sound like a LOT of chorus on this track????
Have you drank much of it. 5%alcohol/volume is normal strength, anything less we call "making love near the river" (or f_cken near water). Drop by, I'll sink a dozen for breakfast with you. Cheers
A few over the years; I spent 4 months in Darwin drinking from dusk til dawn, then moved onto the East coast for a few more months then 6 months in Sydney - tried many different beers, much of it good.
Onto the Belgian stuff nowadays for lunch/dinner.
Cool, someone to drink with that has experience. You know the funny thing is the beer that got international exposure, Fosters is among the worst here. & yes, its served cold, usually between 2 & 3 degrees Celcius, & for good reason. British drink it at room temperature, but their summer is colder than a lot of this country's winter. Here we can see 42 degrees C (107.6 F) at 8 O'clock in the morning. Room temperature beer here would taste like hot camel piss, not to mention the alcohol would start evaporating out of it at our daytime temps. Yeah, you're right.
& another funny thing was the worst beer you export is Castlemain XXXX - terrible, but the stuff in Aussieland is totally different and tastes really nice.
I've consumed considerable amounts of XXXX over the years, didn't know the exported stuff was different. Makes you wonder what the marketing guys were thinking. And you're right Robert, the more you have the better it tastes. CheersYeah, you're right.
