Keanu Reeves motorcycle company - Arch Motorcycles

I love motorcycles, or at least the way they look and sound, but the one thing that has kept me from ever owning one is the fact that every single person I've known that has owned a motorcycle, has wrecked a motorcycle. One of my cousins even died in a motorcycle wreck just after he started college.
Just before I was going to get one, a rider advised against it. He said that there and only 2 types of riders, those that have went down at those that are going down. It wasn't the greatest expression because people can go down twice, but it served its purpose!

I rode Motorcycles for quite a few years had 4 in total. Started dirt riding when I was 12 used to climb hills , mud runs etc, had a few spills dirt riding for sure, one time over the bars at 50mph on a gravel road. Then after riding dirt for 4 years it was a new Honda and licensed for the street I went over the years I witnessed a woman driving a car over to our side of the road and hit one of my buddies on his machine. The front end of the forks were bent completely under the crankcase. He was thrown quite a ways when he exited the bike by being airborne. He was cutup bruised thankfully no broken bones, the only good thing about it was he landed on a lawn. I can remember us 3 guys out for a drive going over a overpass, I was behind my buddy this guy in a pickup truck was in the other lane coming into his lane squeezing him over by cutting him off and he was looking right at him and laughing while doing it. The guy in the pickup chose a bad day to do this as my buddies older Brother was driving with us that day. Everyone called him Wacky Wayne. When Wayne seen this he was right on this guy there was a red light up ahead the guy in the pickup had to stop. Wayne got off his bike was pounding on the guys side window and the hood of his truck. Wayne always wore the big Cowboy boots and preceded to plant one on the side door, sure put some dent in that door I can tell you, then he chased that guy for a while, I am certain that guy never did anything like that again. Well years later I purchased another bike in a new city where I moved and started a Family. I used to ride to work every day, but there was some close calls over the years when I rode ,but no incidents on the streets. Anyway I went to visit a friend who was in the hospital for surgery, and as we were talking I see this guy in a bed in his ward, his blankets are lifted up high, so I was curious so I went over and talked with him, I said what are you in for, he said I was in a motorcycle accident, he pulled the blankets back and WOW!! He had 6 Stainless steel pins through his pelvis they were huge. I said do you think you will ride again, and his answer was I don't know. I know what my answer would be. Anyways 3 days later after the visit I am driving up a one way four lane road a couple of guys accidently cut me off, and at that moment something just came over me and said its time to sell the bike. So I did and have never looked back, I don't even have a desire. I am so thankful I still have my legs , feet, arms and all my body parts still intact. I did have many enjoyable hours of riding and have many good memories as well, but with all being said there is just no protection on a motorcycle and there are so many careless drivers out there its worse than ever.

I started on dirt as well as a young kid. Flew off the bike a few times back then, but never got hurt. Transitioned to street, never crashed but there certainly have been a couple of close calls over the last 35 years.
