For Chicago… I would agree. Then I’d cherry pick certain songs from Chicago and Chicago 3. Put em into a playlist. It’d be awesome. That album (CTA) had to be one of the greatest.
I remember reading a MAD Magazine as a kid that gave the definition of a hippie as a Joe that looks like a Jane and smells like a john.damn hippies
Every time I play one of those CTA albums, it's just as good or better than the first time I listened to it.For Chicago… I would agree. Then I’d cherry pick certain songs from Chicago and Chicago 3. Put em into a playlist. It’d be awesome.
I was a total Chicago fan up thru their first several album…. Especially the already mentioned Chicago and Chicago 3. Being a trombone player, just went nuts over the brass section of the band. Then they started losing members for one reason or another and while they still sounded ok…. It just wasn’t the same. Still love the early albums. The later ones not so much.Every time I play one of those CTA albums, it's just as good or better than the first time I listened to it.
It doesn't go stale; indefinite freshness.
How many albums have that quality? Not many.
