Karl Sandoval Ripped-Off by Fender:

oh come on --- Headstock shapes way off ......one leg is to short on the fender ------.......

IS that Karl in the pic?

does he still IRON his jeans? ---I mean LOOK AT THAT CREASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!----arrow straight!!!

and who is the Todd fellow??? ---- do we even KNOW if that is a legit Fender--- COULD BE A FAKE????

Fender is on crack if they think anybody wants that monstrosity, but it's not like the V is an original Sandoval body shape or anything, and on his website he literally refers to one of his guitars as the Sandoval Strat, so I guess it's easy to see both sides of this.

well, the guys at 7ender sanded the guitar in circles, not in ovals.

But anyway: Karl Sandoval appears to have done this one as well: https://i.pinimg.com/564x/4a/67/81/4a678137f465e5484b48bffdd813296b.jpg

So 7ender actually ssems to have ripped off this guy's bad taste.

If I remember the story correctly the polka dots and shape of the headstock were actually Randy Rhoades' ideas (he's holding Randy's first polka V in that pic, which he did build. The Jackson ones came later).

I have to say yes, but it’s an old pic because that’s what he looked like when I had him route my strat for the humbucker.
Cheers
