Just Watched This Factory Tour...

3:27 - 4:02 is pretty interesting.

To create the program for their CNC machines, they hunted down the best examples of Rickenbackers they could find, then created the digital models and programs off of those.
 
Funny, I was going to start a thread asking if anyone owned a Ric that they enjoyed and actually played regularly. I have never picked up a Ric that I enjoyed playing.

I liked it well enough although I only dinked around a little with my Dad and his old white MIA Strat at the time. I did not feel it was a very comfy guitar to play sitting down though. Neck felt small and thin compared to my Dad's strat.

Ive never even got the chance to see or play one and ive heard all the Cons of these guitars but a person looks damn cool with one hanging off ya.

Same here, I've heard a lot of negative posts on the 6 string. But I still like the look. I haven't heard anything bad about the bass though...

I think Rickenbacker is one of the few guitar companies that is more revered to some people for its bass than its guitars.
