So, I have been trying to be less annoying.... and I've also made a concentrated effort to keep from continually keep taking my guitars apart and making changes to them for no good reason.

Writing music still poses quite a challenge for me. I think its just that I have so much going on in my head right now that I can't really concentrate on writing. Hoping this will change soon.

I did accept an invitation to be guest guitarist at a private party last night playing all 1980's covers. I took the SG along and just one DSL40C. It was a lot of fun and the SG (without any Gibson electronics) of course performed flawlessly and was quiet even right in front of my amp.

This got me thinking, and its kind of funny i suppose. I was recently (within the past 30 days) approached by two local bands and asked if I would sign on and be their guitarist. I said yes to both bands and never heard from them again. I also made quite sure to answer questions very simply and directly, without my usual OCD tendencies.

I guess plans do change and sometimes people just don't give you updates.

So, anyway, its back to trying to write something decent.... :-)

Oh=---come on man---- dont take the annoying---its one of your most endearing qualities ;) :) :)

Maybe they are just douche bags.......Dont change YOU because of THEM---

I contact 100 people a week---who act polite and say they will call me back or they will get the order to me or they will send the art file---- and they never do----
I have files 1-2 some 3" thick of quotes I have done per month over the last two years --- all these people NEVER called back---the ones that did are in the SOLD pile or NEW customer pile---- those files are much thinner-------its just people --its what they do---lol

If I changed to adapt to all of them -----who would I be? wait .....who the Intercourse am I?>?/

I love individuals, but I despise groups of people in general. All my life's experiences tend to ring true to this motto.

This is so well said.
What color are reflections?

I love individuals, but I despise groups of people in general.
All my life's experiences tend to ring true to this motto.

..because as soon as you have more than one person they alter their
behavior and everything sinks to the lowest common denominator.
