Just Saw this VOX MV50 for the 1st Time...

Looks VERY interesting and may be a good amplification unit for my Kemper profiler into a 4x12??? It would also double as an easy to transport amp because it's VERY small...anyone tried one?

I ordered the Clean model for two reasons...

1st I'm not a big distortion fan, I don't even like my VOX AC15C1 which is going up for sale.

2nd I will be sending the output of my Kemper through it and then into a 4x12 so I want the amp to be completely clean.
 
I do have the unpowered Kemper. It makes all kind of great noises into my powered FRFR speakers, one being a Line 6 Stage Source L2T the other a Mission Engineering Gemini 1 Wedge.

BUT, I wanted to try this to power my 4x12 passive cabinet! Plus if that is not a good match I can always just plug my guitar straight in and use it on my 1x12 with the 1957ish original Jensen 12"

...and my 4x12 has 4 Celestion Vintage 30's AND a 4 ohm mono setting so I can get the WHOLE 50 watts out of that little puppy!

Well $630 or $199 plus a speaker...not to mention the weight of dragging that AC15 around...

...and your opinion is good to hear, but elaborate so it gives some reasoning.
 
OH the cabinet makes a BIG difference................................nice...............Second video helped.....

Reasoning??? YOu should know by now I have no REASONING involved......just where the groove goes..... BUT I like the small VOXIES through the 2x12 in the second video MUCH MUCH better --

YOur gonna be fine--- and if you dont like it ---- you know what to do with it ;)
 
The vox cabinets, 8 and 12, Are pretty cheap for this amp head.

I am looking forward to one of you lot taking the plunge and reviewing it. But, once done with a cab, you're pretty close to ac10 money, and I doubt the sound is as good.

Well I just ordered the Clean version and it will be here next week. I already have all the cabs I need so at $199 I couldn't pass it up.

I'm not a pedal guy so there won't be any fantastic reviews of me running pedals through it. Just some cleans with various guitars
and my main use/test purpose is to send my Kemper through it into a 4x12 passive cab with Celestion Vintage 30's in it...
