Just Pulled The Trigger On A Spark.

I've listened to a bunch of the sound samples and these do seem interesting, but it seems I have been going the opposite direction: I've sold off all of the digital/modeling/solid state amps that I had and using strictly tube amps again. I have never gotten a satisfying tone out of anything else (caveat is that I am sure they'll catch up one day, but that day is not today, at least for me).

This is more of a toy for me and I'll probably never figure the whole thing out, I'm very old school, give me a 50 watt plexi and a 4X12 any day!

With you on the toy thing. Whenever I get my hands on a modeling amp they seem interesting at first because of all the options, then I find myself a little while later just searching through all the endless options for one good, useful tone and always giving up and plugging back into my Mark 5.
 
It's here! 9 days, that wasn't so bad. Unpacking it was a chore, the actual unit was in a bag that was in a box, that was in a box, that was in a box, it was packed better than almost anything I've received via UPS or FedEx. Here's a couple pics, now it's playtime .:pound-hand: I've give it a full review after I figure it out. Film at 11:00

Enjoy, it’s a cool amp, wouldn’t be without mine now :)

Hopefully you have a iPad with iOS 12+ that’s best way to get most from the amp

I think the rumours may be true, guitarweasel. I ordered mine online May 3, confirmation said it was expected to ship out around May 10. Next day the tracking showed they then expected to ship it some time around May 24 - June 7. Asked them for an explanation and said they are "generally very conservative" in their ETAs so that they "do not create wrong expectations" and that they usually ship much faster than the 5 weeks they posted. Mind you, they were kind enough to give me right on the spot a comp std licence for the Bias FX2, for "the inconvenience caused". Good customer service, I have to admit. Hopefully my wait time will be much closer to guitarweasel's than to that of a guy on YT that claims they kept him waiting for 6 months. Have to wait and see...

6 month wait times stems back to the first release of the amp and COVID firing up its ugly head

most people get delivery very much sooner mine was just a handful of days
