Just finished

Changing strings on my Godin progression Plus, I had just started changing them, when snap my winder broke. So fortunately enough I can go down to my local boy's, and pick one up. I actually bought 2. I had another one but leave that at my summer place, was a good lesson to learn though, now I will keep two for home and two for my summer place.

I just modify the winder to fit on my brushless drill, change strings in seconds!

I know I know what that is, 4 fingers and a thumb.

YEs, you USE IT to TURN those little metal string winder peg thingies and make the strings go all tight and to pitch and such ...............or for other things but we wont go that deeply into the subject now......you need time to GRASP the initial concept

I don’t gig, so I don’t wear strings out very fast. Never felt the need for a winder. Although, the special tool Chubbles has could be fun.

At 5000 rpm, you will be impressed.

I have a very simple and quick setup.

First you need one of these:

And finally, one of these:

Yup... That sucker will spin at 10,000 rpm. Tuning up or down will very quick and painless. And these things will last longer than some little old piece of puny plastic.

Warning: Tuning machines might get hot and explode!
