This book helped me out on all I have come to know on set ups and General maintenance
Yea bro I was out of work for a bit when I came back to guitar playing, and I borrowed the book and a few others and did some horse trading and put some crap fiddles together and went for broke. I have some cool stories on my , D tuned hot rod!

Thats what I was figuring when the MOTM got together..To pick some brains for tips n tricks..
Would be nice to totally maintain just what I have...Just like minor setup to maybe a pup swap and or switch.....I know I have got the hand talent, just need to know how and when to apply certain things...
And the book Mitch suggested would be a good read..

YEp -- and Robverts advice is sound find a beater squire or some such for mega cheap online and rip it apart -- then put it back together 
thats how I learned--- that and being a notoriously frugal bastage (CHEAP BASTARD) -- I wasnt PAYING anyone to do a setup -- swap a pick up-- or repaint my guitar....tha5ts CRAZY ---
so you figure it out
