I have had Epis and gibbos that were awesome -- this is my longest owned guitar-- one of my all time favorites-- and one that will be on the top 3 short list to ever go away--
08 Epi Les Paul Custom--- I traded a Jay Turser for it (BUWAHAHHA)
LOVE this guitar

That looks just like one I played today, and the others were in black......I have a few artic white Ibby’s and I love the white but am thinking a Black SG.., but not going to make such a fuss about color...those G400’s were talkin to me....
I loved mine for a couple of years, the wine red got a sd jb in the bridge, last July I needed some cash and let them both go, with a mim strat as well, my white one got set up for 11-54’s and D standard tuning.
Cheers Mitch

If it helps any?

I had a cherry G400, for a couple of years. Great axe, it was all you could ask for in a SG. Completely stock, one setup, and regular string changes.

Was part of the Great Gear Sell Off of 2008, otherwise I'd still be using it.

Just my opinions, not worth much, you'll be the final judge.

For some reason the growl of an SG just speaks to me....
I know some may say no, but I just like their sound....
After I find an SG, I think I will be happy for quite some time...
After I let go of some race car stuff, a Mesa will be next....
I don’t need high wattage, prefer 20/30 but no mo than 50...
