Judas Priest for Hall of Fame..Hell Yesssssssssss !!!!

I've opened for Leslie quite a few times, Leslie and his wife Jenny are very disappointed that he's never even been nominated. I' rather listen to him than most players out there and I'll admit when I was younger I stole a few of his licks.

Jack Bruce wrote "Theme For an Imaginary Western" for Cream, but Clapton said it was too complicated. too bad for Eric great for Mountain. Leslie kills Clapton....IMHO. I'd love to see this gentle giant at least get a nomination before his diabetes gets him.

They also nominated Motörhead, but only the three amigos, Lemmy, Eddie Clarke, and Philthy Phil. I think it's an insult as Phil "Whizzö" Campbell was with them for over thirty years, and Mikkey Dee for over twenty five.

Along with Whizzö and Mikkey, they should also be include Würzel, Larry Wallace, and Lucas Fox.

They also finally included the MC5, T. REx, and Thin Lizzy. It's about damn time, but I doubt they'll let any of them in.
I never understood the point regarding not including certain band members. Why not just include the whole band «package»?

That being said, I don’t really undersrand the fuss about the R ‘n’ R HOF at all. Don’t get me wrong, bands like Judas Priest most definitely belong there, but I think the HOF has demonstrated time and time again that it seems to nominate artists rather randomly. Bands like Judas and Motörhead should have been there from day one.

I think all of those award things are just crap anyway.
Just let the music do the talking; thats all the recognition they need and deserve.

How can you NOT have Judas Priest?
and the mentioned THin Lizzy - I been listening to the Fighting and Jailbreak records every day the last 2 weeks!
Emerald is, like, my "favorite song" right now....

But I never did find my GnR AFD disc last week , after all that Slash Gibson copy discussion.

I think I've said it before.
British Heavy Metal.....
Victim.
Of.
Changes.
For me, it starts and ends right there.
They bring it on that track.

All of Sad Wings Of Destiny, really. It was my first Judas Priest Album, I guess I got it shortly after it came out, so it'll always be like a first love for me. I recall me and my friends being shocked when we first listened to Sin After Sin because it seemed like their sound changed so dramatically in one album, but that turned out to be the way they rolled. Damn I love Judas Priest.
