Band over being forced to audition to rejoin the group. Took time off due to temporary disability from minor injuries in 2019. Had to prove he was able to play at an appropriate level. The Band asked him to perform rehearsal solo against a click track, instead of playing live with the other four members. Had a shoulder injury.

I'm going to reserve comment on this one until I can read the complaint and the response. So far I've only read the reporting with Joey saying he doesn't understand why this is happening, but there is definitely going to be another side to this story.
 
sounds like a battle of egos--- IMMAGINE THAT--- with those guys!

after the last time I watched them hack their way through a HORRIBLE Super Bowl half time show---- they should thank the Lord anyone even wants to hire them !
(and i say this a lifelong Aersomith fan--first song I learned to play was walk this way!)
 
Y'know, although I do consider myself an Aerosmith fan, for me the band began with 'Aerosmith' in 1973 and ended with 'Draw The Line' in 1977. Maybe a song or two off of 'Night In The Ruts' but for all intents and purposes they have sucked since 1979 and I really don't care whether Joey Kramer is in the band if they are going to be playing "Dude (Looks Like a Lady)" or "Love In An Elevator" or any of their other pop-rock nonsense.
 
I seen Aerosmith open for BTO in support of there Dream On album. It was at a outdoor venue called Delta Park in Portland Oregon.Was the race track there. I didnt even know who they were but they kicked royal ars. I was a fan from that day on. when that album come out 72 or 73 ??? .
 
think i burnt my first one, to Same ol Song and Dance..Dream ON-Get your Wings-Toys- Rocks..part of my life's history..used to stack em on the TT in that order... I think there is a bit of Aerosmith in all of us in that age range..
First time ya heard , Sweet Emotion or laughed to Big 10 inch record...Seasons of Wither...Last Child..rats in the cellar...Mama Kin...Toy's in the attic.............
