Hey, guys! Does anybody here know what the specs for Joe Bonamassa's guitars are? Talking about general and setup specs. I have a potential customer that wants me to get his LP to those specs. He has a 2019 LP Standard 50's. Any help will be greatly appreciated!

According to tech Mike Hickey, the low E at the 12th fret is .080" and the high E string is actually set at .090" respectively.

Joe's bridge PAF humbucker is set at .110" from the bottom of the low E string.

Joe uses gauge .011" Ernie Ball strings now on all of his Gibsons which Mike admits are "a hard ride for most people".

@SIx String Chef - I use a little less extreme setup specs and they are well received by Players across multiple genres.

I'm setting up roughly 8-10 Les Paul's a week for private clients, all of whom are actively performing musicians.

On a Les Paul, I use Ernie Ball Paradigm .010 x .046, top-wrapped over tailpiece exclusively.

Neck relief is set to .011"

Action at the first fret is .025"

Action at the 12th is set to. 070"

Bridge pickup pole pieces are staggered and the low and high 'e' strings are set 6/32" from the strings when depressed at the last fret.

The neck pickup is adjusted to match the volume of the bridge by output with a VU meter.

Hope this helps.
