By the thread title, I was expecting Joe B. to be fixin' to blow my mind.
I am not a fan of the big ensemble blues, no matter who it is, Clapton, Joe B, Muddy Waters, whoever...
But I have seen plenty of stripped down and gritty Joe B performances. He's got it. But the glitzy, big band honky-fied uptown thing is what pays his bills. I can't begrudge him that.
